Multiplayer AI, governed by design

Multiplayer AI for work
that has to hold up.

Your people and teams of AI agents and Physical AI work in one live Room. The people on the work can watch it and direct it as it develops. Critika checks every action against your rules and keeps the proof: who decided, from which sources, at what cost.

The shift

Your AI works alone.
Your work doesn’t.

Today everyone works with AI in a box only they can see. Context is pasted from chat to chat, and coordinating many different agents on a big project is still done by hand. No one else can see what the agents did, or stop them. That’s fine for an email. It doesn’t work for a deal, a filing or an audit.

How it works · an example

One deal, from first message to signed.

Buy-side counsel on Project Kestrel has nine days and 3,912 documents in the data room before signing. Here’s how the work runs in Critika, from building the team to the version that goes to the other side.

01 · Team

You build the team, and set its rules.

Maya, the partner bringing the work, builds the team in the Room: the specialist agents the deal needs, a lead agent to coordinate them, her associates, the client’s general counsel and the clean-team economist. She sets what each of them can and can’t do: who directs, who reviews, who approves, who spends, and what each can see.

  • People build the team and set its rules.
  • Agents act only within the powers they’re given.
  • Restricted material stays with the seats cleared to see it.
02 · Start

Start with a full brief, or just a conversation.

Then Maya briefs the lead agent: a complete brief and the files, or simply a conversation. She attaches the draft agreement and says what she needs. The lead asks for what’s missing and plans how to use the team she built, fanning the work out across its specialists. Maya agrees the plan and the budget before the real spending starts.

  • Start from a brief, your files or an open conversation.
  • The lead fans the work out across the team you built.
  • The plan and the budget agreed up front.
03 · Together

Your people direct the work, live.

Dev drops in late and sees exactly where each agent is. One standing instruction redirects the whole contracts team, word for word, through every revision. Priya asks about a finding and gets an answer with its source. Overnight, Ana joins from Singapore and directs the leases agent herself.

  • Watch any agent work, live.
  • Direct the whole team with one instruction.
  • People in any time zone direct the same team.
04 · Governed

Every action checked the moment it runs.

Critika checks each action against the rules Maya set, as they stand at that moment, not when the work began. Pricing schedules stay with the clean team. Nothing reaches the other side without Maya’s approval. And when the client withdraws a file, every summary made from it goes too.

  • Access checked at the moment of action.
  • Money reserved before it’s spent.
  • Withdraw a source and everything made from it goes with it.
05 · Monitored

Watch it work, at any hour, at any scale.

Progress is live for everyone on the work: what each agent is doing, what it has found and what it has cost. At 2:14 a.m. a server restarts. The work picks up from its last step, without repeating it or paying for it twice. Anyone with the authority can stop it at any point.

  • Live progress, findings and spend for everyone on the work.
  • Recovers from a crash without repeating a step.
  • Stop the work at any point.
06 · Approved

Every finding traced. Every approval exact.

The disclosure schedules come back as an exact version, and every line links to the clause it relies on. Maya reads Version 4 and approves that version, as herself. Version 5 will need its own approval. The approved version goes to the other side once.

  • Every claim links to its source.
  • Approvals bound to the exact version read.
  • Sent once: the version that was approved.
07 · On the record

The record keeps itself.

When the deal signs, the work arrives with its record: who commissioned it, who directed it and how, every source and version, every check and approval, and what it cost. Ready for the client file, the partner review or the regulator.

  • Who decided what, from which sources, at what cost.
  • Kept as the work happens, not written up afterwards.

The work

Built for work that answers to someone.

A regulator, a client, a court, an auditor, a board. Wherever work has to stand up to scrutiny, it runs long, it takes many hands, and it runs under rules. That’s the work Critika is for.

Financial crime

Investigate 41 alerts on a correspondent account and file the SAR within 30 days.

JLRATN3 people · 6 agents

Only the investigations team can see the case. The filing waits for the BSA officer.

Licensing

Renew money transmitter licences in 49 states before 31 December.

CKMV2 people · 9 agents

Every attestation traced to the audited financials. Each state’s filing approved by the CCO.

Model risk

Validate a new credit-loss model before the quarter closes.

HBSOLP3 people · 5 agents

The model’s developers can see every test. They can never approve the report.

Medical devices

Assemble the 510(k) submission for a new infusion pump.

EWDNFG3 people · 7 agents

Labeling changes need Quality’s sign-off. Every claim links to its test report.

Audit

Test 312 key controls for the year-end SOX audit.

AMJKPS3 people · 8 agents

Auditors see every control. Process owners see only their own.

Software

Ship a change to the payments service through change control.

RTYK2 people · 4 agents

Deploy waits for the change board. The approved commit is the one that ships.

The promises

Nine promises, on every piece of work.

The longer the work runs and the bigger the team, the more these matter. They’re built into Critika itself, not left to each team to bolt on.

It finishes the work.

  • 01

    One owner for every task

No part of the work is done twice or overwritten, even after a glitch.

  • 02

    Recovers from any crash

Work picks up from its last step, without repeating it or paying for it twice.

  • 03

    Done means done

Nothing counts as finished while an action is unresolved or a required part is missing.

It stays within what you allow.

  • 04

Authority at the moment of action

Every action is checked against the rules in force when it runs, not when the work began.

  • 05

    Spending you control

Money is reserved before every call. Runaway work stops for a decision.

  • 06

    Never done twice

A filing, an email or a payment can’t be repeated by a retry. Anything uncertain is checked first.

You can prove what happened.

  • 07

    Exact versions

Every approval is bound to the exact version the person read.

  • 08

    Instructions kept word for word

Through every revision and hand-off, for every agent they concern.

  • 09

    Controls that tell the truth

You see what actually happened, not what was hoped.

Where it goes

The bigger the work, the more it matters.

Agents are starting to run work that takes days and weeks, with dozens of agents and people on one piece of work. That’s where single-player AI breaks down and governance becomes the product. Critika is built for that scale: thousands of teams, every interaction overseen.

Today

Documents and analysis

Deals, filings, investigations, audits and reports, with every decision on the record.

Next

Code

Changes taken from ticket to a reviewed, approved release by people and agents together.

Then

Operations

Work that runs around the clock, directed by the people responsible for it.

In time

Physical AI

Robots and humanoids taking seats on the team, under the same rules and the same record.

Durability

Built to finish, even when things fail.

Long work meets crashes, restarts and lost connections. When it does, Critika picks up where the work stopped, without repeating a step, paying twice for an answer or sending anything twice.

  • Picks up where it stopped

After a crash or restart, work resumes from its last step. Nothing finished is done again.

  • No answer paid for twice

An answer that already arrived is replayed from the record, not requested again.

  • No action from half an answer

A cut-off answer never triggers anything. Only complete answers count.

  • Outside actions never doubled

Every email, filing or payment has its own identity, so a retry can’t repeat it. If it’s unclear whether one went out, Critika checks first.

Practical questions

No. Critika is a shared Room where your people and teams of AI agents carry a piece of work from first message to approved result, under your rules, with a record of everything that happened.
